How this works: Set your ideal summer day — same staff every day, 7 days a week. FT = 5 shifts/wk, PT = adjustable (default 3). Each role has its own buffer % for sick/time off/turnover. The math: Daily × 7 = weekly shifts → + buffer → ÷ 5 = people. The roster “Shifts” column shows actual weekly coverage from your FT/PT mix, and the gap tells you how many FT-equivalent hires you still need.
